Ok so Im going to my younger sister's school tomorrow because of some girls that keep threating her life and we have texts from the girl's phones saying they are going to "Kick her ***" and lots of other things. I informed them that it is illegal to threaten someone's life. I believe its "conveying a threat" but i was wondering if anyone had any links to places i can print out this issue to show the principal.. my sister is very shy and gets bullied alot by them and this is not the first time we have had to go to her school for thiss issue [but with different people] they put my sister on a Behavior Contract... she is upset becase it goes on her perminent record and she has done nothing. Her school is ummm well not one of the best and they dont have the students best interest in mind... so i know i can go to the police or school board if i dont like the result from her principal. the principal made an appointment with me tomorrow morning so again i was wondering if anyone had some things i can print out to plead my case..

When your sister is in school the school is responsible for her well being. I would just let them know that you have no problem getting litigious on their ***. Tell them that you plan on going to the cops with the texts to press charges and how poorly it will reflect on the school which sat by and did nothing.
DO NOT be nice. Let your inner ***** out. Also complain about the behavior contract, tell them you want it removed from the record.
Sorry I have nothing for you to print up, just my big mouth for advice. Go on to the board of education's website and see what you can find about bullying and the schools responsibility to provide a SAFE learning environment. Good luck. |

The only thing I can think of, off hand, is one of our Rights is to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
Seems these other girls are depriving her of a Constitutional Right. |

I can understand your frustration. I would definately tell the principal that what is going on and show her the messages. We had to do this at my daughter's school. Most schools these days have a no tolerance rule and if by some chance something did happen you have the proof that you went to the principal and authorities. Good luck. |
