does anyone know,how do plead guilty to not stopping at a stop sign,bu tnot have demerit points added

Usually, even before you plead "not guilty", they'll offer something. And anyway, the judge usually has a schedule of fines that he's supposed to go by. But you have to show up on time. Gotta avoid points at all costs. |

Strictly speaking you can't, not stopping is a moving violation.
But you can plea bargain it down to a non-moving violation.
That maybe possible these days since the municipality is really looking for revenue and not traffic safety.
I know in CA, there is traffic school to erase the points. But I think that option is open to you every 18-24 months. |
