Does anyone know how long you have to be a patrol officer before you can try out for Dallas Swat????

I have 4 yrs Infantry in the Army and above average on fitness.

Depends on the background you have before you join up. Like if you were a military sniper or an olympic rated sniper then you are gonna get an invite once you are on the job. You do not apply for SWAT in most outfits they come looking for you and you get an invite to some training exercises etc and after a while if you fit in you will get the invite.
