Hi, Iwas approaching a set of traffic lights with a camera installed and my speed was adjusted accordingly as I was expecting them to go to red as I was going though with the light still at green another vehicle cut across my bows forcing me to stop but as I stopped the lights had changed back to red I am not sure how I would fare I was not sure if I was flashed or not.
Could an engineer throw some light on this (exuse the pun) as I would have to appeal against this.

If you went through the junction with the lights on red (i.e you crossed the line when the light had changed to red) you may have been filmed.
As the offecne is entering the junction with the lights against you, I'm not sure you'd have much of a defence. But your question is not entirely clear whether you crossed the junction on red, or not. |

Signal camera's are activated when the lights are red, they are more of a camcorder than a camera that flashes. You could argue your case but you may want to call a professional first (for more information). |

Traffic light cameras are usually cctv units and do not take a picture. They are sometimes monitored at a central HQ. If you here nothing in 14 days nothing will happen. If you hear after 14 days then they are out of time so write back and tell them so. |
