Two valuables were stolen out of my locker. I am 90% sure of the people who stole them. Anything I can do?

These items were my IPOD and my cellphone. They were in my shorts in my locker, and I had football practice. I am very paranoid about getting stolen from, as my school isn't what you would call the safest school. I probably check the lock 10 times before I go to practice. The lockers have a shelf at the top and are see thru, and they are pretty easy to bend and then take whatever is on the top shelf. These two guys dropped out of football and hang out in the locker room constantly. Many items have been stolen, but I guess im the first to actually take action. After practice, my shorts were missing. I went and reported this to my coach right away. My friend later found my shorts on the other side of the locker room but the valuables were gone. When I got home I deactivated the cellphone so that I could not be charged with their calls. My coach talked to the two guys I suspected stole it, but they had lockers in the locker room, and they cant make accusations. Can I trace my stuff? Help

i would file a police report. it would not only put pressure on the school to do something about it, but it would also make the theives nervous. hopefully they havn't sold anything yet.

Im not sure about any of that.... but next time you get a phone... check to see if you phone offers a chaperone service on it... basically what it does is its a GPS on your phone... so if you phone ever goes missing, you can log onto a computer, or another phone with the same service and locate your phone. So, not only would you get your phone back, you can also sue for the theft.

Your coach should have insist to have their lockers check (If they have done no wrong, they'll obliged to open it). But I doubt they already hid it in another place. Sorry

You may not agree with this but turn on your phone and see if the left texts or calls his friends. If you recignize any names question them or tell the coach or principal. Hope you get your goods back!

The best thong to do is leave an ipod and call phone at home if you really don't wanna take any chances. Also you can leave your bags in the office or ask a teacher to put it in a safe locked desk where only you and her can get into. If your rich theres some cell phones that have trackers installed. Also if they steal your cell agian get a phone that you don't have in your contacts and call the your phone try to match whos voice it is.

Your cellphone provider can tell you about any calls made. Get the serial numbers. You should file a police report. Also see if you (or your parents') homeowners insurance covers it (amazingly it may).

Unfortunately, unless you have a witness, you won't get much further than that unless you see them with the stuff and are big enough to force them to show you the serial numbers.

How did they manage to get your locker open? Did they break the lock?

Unless you have some kind of proof there really is nothing you can do. If your coach talks to them and they confess then you have something, other than that you are out of luck.

Get a group of people who's stuff has gone and confront them all at once. People don't fair well under that sort of pressure and they will slip up and end up saying something lthat will drop them in the sh*t, therefore you know they've done it. Then things can go from there as there will be many wittnesses (not to the actual theft) but you can, with enough ?evidence, maybe have someone search their lockers and scrutinise them further.
Basically, put them in a 'hot seat' and see how they react

well just recently i had my lock and my gym bad taken from my locker, and the problem was i told my closest friends my locker combo. If you didn't the problem may have been that you have the locks with the letters, those are super easy to find out. And if you don't have that, im guessing your teacher takes all your locker numbers in at the beginning of the year incase you forget your combo. So what i would do is ask my teacher to open up whoever you think took what ever is missing's locker and see if it's in there. If it isn't check their desk. I'm sorry about your possessions. But this is all i can think of.

Don't go accusing unless you have irrefutable proof. The next ipod/phone you get don't leave where it can be seen and put something on them so they can be very noticeable and noone can remove it. Make sure you file a report with the coach/school so it is on record in case it happens again. The only other thing you can do is keep an eye out in case the ipod/phone turn up with someone else.

try to be a spy.. dress in a disguise and act as a bad kid.. act shady.. then ask what they stole in their life.. tell them fake stuff u stole.. they might spill...
