Absolutely yes, there are many confidential ways of giving evidence in the issue, It is fully understood the reluctance to give evidence on the grounds of personal safety, but the police are expert in dealing with this situation, over the years they have had to make provisions to accommodate this aspect of evidential material. In the case of murder just think, what could happen if you did not come forward, next time this person acted in this manner it could well be one of your own family suffering the consequences. |

If I saw my best friend in the world shoot or in any way harm another person I would report what I had seen to the police. I would do it if I saw that same person stealing or doing any other criminal act. |

sure, but do it anonymously, offer information to the police, but refuse to be witness at court, after all if guy was enough irresponsible to shoot someone with witnesses around he might shoot you with no hassle. |

It all depends who my mate shot...?
If he shot a scumbag drug dealer or a rapist pervert then no, i wouldn't inform the police.
But if he shot some innocent person, like a kid, for no reason at all, then I'd take the gun from him, stick it up his *** and pull the trigger.
As for informing the police, like i said before, it depends on the situation. |

Some interesting answers. personally i would do my utmost to bring any law breaker however minor to justice. After all i have a responsibility to the community in which I live. I would be interested in hearing directly from particularly those whow said they wouldn't inform the police but from everyone else too about your views on this type of subject.
