So recently me and my brother discover that his wife is cheating on him. This girl is somewhat mentally unstable. At one point she was suicidal and once pointed a knife at my brother and has thrown a small alarm clock at his head once. Recently I checked the history of websites visited on my pc. She was on google searching for "us agents" because she loves to accuse and believe my brother is cheating on her.. But heres something that chocked me: As a reviewed more of the history, I saw that she was searching for "assassins". Apparently she wants someone killed. I know that searching for "assassins" alone is not suficient evidence to put her behind bars because she did not click any links on the search results. Is it possible that I can contact someone who will pose as a killer to expose her intentions? I was thinking maybe a cop can make a fake myspace profile and add her and make it seem and hint that he has killed people before (maybe have lots of pictures of guns and other deadly weapons as pictures on myspace). After this profile is done, the cop could contact her and ask to meet up and if shes married. Im pretty sure she will say something like "oh my husband doesnt care about me." then the officer can reply with suggestive remarks like" oh does he harm you? I can take care of that if you want me to. I have the right tools to do so". After that the officer can just wait and see if she will fall into the trap.

Risky business! You are trying to play detective in a situation you have no control over. While you're trying to play detective, she could very well contract someone that you don't even know about and have your brother killed. You always take these things seriously.
(1) According to your post, she is violent, suicidal, and mental unstable. Just what else does your brother need to know to tell him to get away from this woman. DUH?
Stop trying to play detective, report what you know to the police and try to convince your brother to get away from her. Obviously, if she is cheating she is not concerned with keeping her marriage together. |

Im a cop in the northern district of Texas and if your brother has had prior problems with domestic violence and belives his life is in danger he needs to file for seperation and contact the local police department so a restraining order can be issued. You cannot do the afforementioned "myspace" plan because it is illeal (entrapment). He cannot file for a restraining order while they are still in the same residence so he needs to seperate before hand. In the mean time i would split bank accounts and anything she has access to. Contact the insurance company if he has a life insurance policy so she will have not motive as far as monetary gain in the event of his passing. My advise would be for him to get away from her and stay elsewhere in the meantime. Your local law enforcement should be able to help you further with the issue. They will not just turn you away in the event of lack of evidence. They are there to serve and PROTECT. Hope this helps. |

Ok Let me get this straight. She is has a history of mental illness and is suicidal at times. What do you want from the police? They are going to get mental health care for her? Forget it. He married her. he can get her the help she needs. YES even though she's cheating on him. He is in part responsible for that. You really believe it's ok to put someone mentally ill behind bars? Heartless.
And in my not so humble opinion , you need to but out of your brothers marriage. |

That's called entrapment. We don't offer to break the law to get someone to agree to it.
No cop is going to get involved in your brother's marital problems based on a gut feeling. |
