So, in October I got caught underage drinking and didn't end up going to court untill the end of April. They were extremely nice and dropped my charge down to a disorderly conduct. However, I just went to a party with my friend this past saturday and it got busted, but I only had a few sips of my friends drink to try it. I had no intent of going there to drink. I'm not sure what I blew on the breathalyzer test, but they took down my info from my drivers license and let me go. Then, on wednesday morning they called my parents. I am 18 so I'm not sure how they were allowed to do that, but now I am waiting to get a citation in the mail, but I'm not sure if it will be for underage drinking or a disorderly conduct.
If it is an underage, what do you think will happen? It will technically be my 1st one, but will I have to go to court again?
Also, of course senior week is coming up, and I have already paid for my house and everything, but now I'm scared to go. I would only go and hang out with my friends and chill on the beach for the week and not drink anything, but can you get in any kind of trouble if my house is busted even if I'm not doing anything wrong? We'll be in Ocean City, Maryland
