i was caught underage drinking at a friends house cuz someone called it in we were jsut watchin tv and we corporated with the cops and i blew a .08 and they said they would mail us a ticket for $249 and i am 17 but i am going to be 18 in 5 wks will be charged as an adult cuz it is so close and what eles do i need to worry about and btw it is my frist time and i have a clean record

In Wisconsin, 17 year olds are treated as adults, so turning 18 will not change anything.
Along with the $249 penalty, the judge could order you for an alcohol assessment and suspend your drivers license, even if a vehicle was not involved. |

You will be charged according to your age on the date of the offense. In Wi, you are probably looking at a fine, community service , and a substance abuse services counseling session. |

it won't be too bad other than the fine. the same thing happende to my sister, she just had to pay the fine. but you will be charged as an adult because it is so close to your 18 b-day.
