WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF THEY WAS A BANK ROBBERY AND YOU WERE A WORKER THE GUN WAS POINTED @ YOU?

the question I need answered is if you were terrified how would you respond to the robber who had a gun pointed right at you and said you'll be the first to go if anything goes wrong? would you be observing the whole crowd or just to scared to do anything? could and would a person be able to observe things really!! I need and answer right away it's for class tonight!!!!

ok here is more to go on, she is a female and she works at the front desk, not where the tellers work she is the first person you see, and what i really want to know is do you think you could observe things going on around you i am the defense attorney in this and the lady seems to see and here everything, she is a witness for the state, and i need to make her story not beleiveable. And thank you all for good and some funny answers but this is something I really would like serious help on thank you again.

I can remain extremely calm under pressure. I would do whatever they say, its not my money and i think tellers/employees who trip silent alarms are stupid. If i was the bank robber i would tell everyone as soon as i came in if anyone trips an alarm, everyone dies...and thats what would happen. So basically the teller should be very cooperative incase a nut job comes in, why argue over something that is not yours.

The women would probably be scared shitless. Chances are she is not sure what she saw, but probably remembers what she heard or atleast fragments of what was happening.

I would shoot the criminal with laser beams from my eyes. They never see that one coming.

Fold like a house of cards. I am not going to risk my life. Even the police and the banks advise complying fully with the robbers. The Bank of England or the Federal Reserve have got plenty of spare pieces of paper just sitting around in their cash depots, waiting to replace the ones the man with the gun wants. They don't have a spare me.

Who can say how they would act in a hypothetical situation? Many people would say that they would right right up to the criminal and shove the gun up his a **. Where in reality, if it happened to them, most would probably wet their pants and beg for their life. The point is no one knows for sure how they would react until it happens. What class is this and why didn't you start your homework earlier?

give all of your money or something...

I'd give them every single bit of money int he drawer and in the vault if they demanded it and asked for it.

I wouldn't be making anywhere near enough money to protect someone else's money or to put my life on the line so that my family could be deprived of my presence for the next several (hoepfully) decades.

Sorry....I choose life not someone else's stinking money.

EDIT- I seriously cannot believe I got a thumbs down on that. Apparently, someone thinks a bank teller SHOULD defend their money. F**K that!

That's also a large part why I don't work in a bank.

Give them the money?

If it's a single bank robber and he was sloppy enough to put the gun close to me I might have second thoughts. Putting a gun against someone's forehead is a really dumb thing to do unless you want your wrist broken and a bullet in your chest. If the robber blinks he's dead, and I also know how to make people blink.

However fighting is an unnecessary risk. By attacking you're guaranteeing that someone will die and it may be you. Even if you're good at this sort of thing and the other guy isn't you're rolling the dice.

If the risk is unnecessary don't take it.

EDIT:

ok here is more to go on, she is a female and she works at the front desk, not where the tellers work she is the first person you see, and what i really want to know is do you think you could observe things going on around you i am the defense attorney in this and the lady seems to see and here everything, she is a witness for the state, and i need to make her story not beleiveable. The simplest way is to compare different witnesses. Take a lecture hall full of criminology students, have someone run in and take something off the professor's desk, and interview the students about what color pants the bad guy was wearing. You'll get a lot of different answers and it works every time.

In stressful situations, especially ones where your life is at stake, it's easy to develop tunnel vision. You'll remember dangerous things very clearly such as the kind of gun in your face and the smirk on the badguy's face, but you may not be able to describe his ears or sneakers. Your memory will be better if the situation is completely beyond your control; the driver in an accident may not remember anything but the passenger might.

Realistically nobody knows what they'd do until it happens.
And I heard that less than 3% of people actually have the will to go stop it/ fight.
So honestly I don't know what I'd do, I hope what I did wouldn't get me or anyone else hurt or killed.

EDIT:
It really depends on the person to observe things.. it's possible if she was in a panic that she wouldn't observe. But if she knew to remain more calm then she more than likely would. There's also another factor, when people have a big thing happen or panic, or simply a startling moment, they remember things much more clearly than if they hadn't.
In my opinion of people I know who work at banks, they'd probably be very observant.. they tend not to panic after a few seconds and are trained to trigger an alarm if they can, which takes focus so that the robber doesn't see you do it.
I would think she would have seen what's going on all around her.

I would give him what he wants my life is more valuable then my job or the cash he wants. Insurance would cover it anyway who cares if you might get fired because you gave in so easily that he got away before the police arrive. Who would you rather be the guy who died for your boss's cash or the guy who is still breathing?
