My hubby got 2 tickets in one stop - Driving while license is susp AND Driving without a license. He was taking his handicapped brother home, and didn't know his tail light was out. They stopped him, and etc. That was 1/7/09. Now they issued a warrant. One is about $300, the other about $350. He doesn't get paid until next Friday, but regardless, I think he should have called to get arrangements made. Now, this... What can he do? There's no way he can pay the total amount due now, and he can't fight it - he doesn't have a license! I don't know why he gave him 2 tickets though, that was just retarded. And Comcast called me because he didn't pay them - he didn't tell me that either, and that's about $400. And Comcast is in MY name. Ughh...Anyways, what can he do about the warrant / tickets? Is it too late for payment arrangements? This whole thing means we're gonna have to get the kids ready to drive our broke down car 20 mins away to that community just to pay this stupid ticket. He should really STOP doing favors for people (not his brother, other people).... I'm ranting sorry. Thanks.

Good Lord, I'm not saying he didn't deserve them, I'm saying he always does favors for other people and where are they when he gets slapped with something for his help? He knows he's suspended, and I have my license. I could easily drive, but he puts it all on the line when he does what he does. AND He called and they are making payment arrangements - I'm upset about it all, and the fact that he waited this long. Some people act like they are so holy and make no mistakes. I didn't ask for a sermon, I asked for HELP because we are not perfect....

What he SHOULD do.....is abide by basic laws.
You act like it isn't his fault he was driving on a suspended license....
Don't complain about the system...99+% of people can follow these laws. It's your housband that can't.
As for what he can do.......He can find a way to be an adult and take responsibility for his actions.
Go to court - take care of the warrants.
Pay the tickets....borrow money....whatever it takes, because if he doesn't, he'll be in a lot more trouble.

Don't know what state you're in - the first thing you need to do to clear the FTA/FTP warrants is to contact the court, and go see the judge. The judge MAY have some flexibility in payment arrangements and cancelling the warrants.

Hilarious. You don't know why they gave him two tickets. One for driving with a suspended license and for a tail light. I'll tell you why. Becuase he was driving with a suspended license and his tail light was out. The fact he was taking his disabled brother home has zero to do with anything. Why do you people always tell us the crime and put "but he was taking his disabled brother home" as if that should get you out of it? The guy sounds like a real winner.

he got a warrant probably for fta,failure to appear or contempt of court.he cant do anything now but turn himself in.been there,done that.explain to the judge what you can and cannot pay but then you will mostly likely have to bond him out.this city they would.damn nazis |
