Talula, I fear it is too late for you to get out of the speeding ticket. I don't know how it works other places, I live in Palm Beach County Florida. Here we can go to court. The judge will ask if anyone is willing to waive their hearing and allow him to adjudicate the ticket. If you stand at that time he indicates on your record that you are not guilty, you get no points against your license and he sends you to driving school so it doesn't count as your selection to go. He usually will lower the fine to a more reasonable amount. I have done this myself several times and I only learned of this process from a friends teenage son-lol. Good luck -k-

it depends on how fast you were going. but you can go to traffic school and get it tooken off your record. you cant do that if you were speeding 90 or above.

If your district offers it, you should take a driver improvement class, often times judges will see this and dismiss the ticket, if not it still helps the points on your license.
