What's The Punishment for Not Completing Court Asigned Community Service?

One Of My Girlfriends Got Caught Stealing $.96 Chap stick its kinda funny . but If She Didn't Do any Of Her Community Service Is Their A way Where She Can Fix It Without Any Problems?

She Was Giving 25 HOURS OF SERVICE AND GOOD BEHAVIOR UNTIL COURT DATE IN JUNE CAN SHE STILL COMPLETE IT WITHOUT GOING TO JAIL?
And were in Virginia

No. It's probably a requirement of her probation. If she violates probation, she'll likely go to jail. It's not wise to violate a court order.

in my state, that would be contempt of court. It might easily earn her an immediate $100 fine.

It's violation of probation. She may get jail time...

And all for a tube of chapstick.

If she didn't do her CS chances are there is a warrant for her arrest, because that is contempt of court. They won't actively look for her probably but if she gets arrested again she will go to jail. In most jurisdictions

Your 'friend' received probation and then community service in lieu of a jail/juvy sentence.

Her failure to comply with the terms of the probation WILL result in her going to jail/juvy for the entire sentence.

I bet it won't be nearly as funny when she goes there..

what if somebody gets caught doing another persons community service. for ex----I have to do my court ordered hours on the weekend but i work, so my cousin goes and does my cs for me. if she got caught showing up in my place,,,,then what???
