Im pretty sure it varies per state, but as far as i know you dont need a college degree..my city doesnt require it. but you do need to be very physically fit. The initial physical exam is pretty easy..but it gets very rigorous and hard. Start doing cardio and upper body exercises. Also, you have to have a very clean record--- credit scores, traffic tickets, and criminal background. every state/city has a website that you can go to to view their requirements for becoming a police officer...and ways to prepare you. try going to ur state.gov.... or ur city .gov. hope this helps a bit if you tell me what state u are in..i would be able to help direct you more.

Major Disaster
To be an English policeman it helps if you have a gormless appearance, like wearing ludicrous uniforms, and have an extremely low IQ.
A fear of guns and muslims is also helpful.

What state do you live in? The min. age is 21 as far as I know, but you need a degree in criminal justice/law enforcement/psychology/ sociology/ or anything related to these fields also no felony convictions also test everywhere you can because it's very rare you get in on the first try. Good luck

Most police forces in the US require 60 college units.

criminal justice major and some people who do political science go into law enforcement. They take any degrees really. You dont even need a degree to make it in the force. just its easier. They always have job fairs, find out where their jobs fairs are and get there. then go from there and ask some questions.
