What are some good Call of Duty 4 guns?

Although the question is in the wrong section, I did some googling and according to the experts at the following websites:

Start with the M16A4 (3 round burst) http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=M16A4

After you get good with that, try the M4, which you get at level 10. It is pretty similar to the M16A4 EXCEPT it is fully auto causing it to have more recoil. The MP5 is good and you get that early, I think you start with it. If you are into single shot go to the G3 around level 25.

At 35, you get the G36C, fully auto and a favorite among most people. At level 40, try the P90, it is pretty good and has a good size clip. or magazine or whatever it is called.

Avoid the LMG's because they make you move SLOW...

The main advice is go with whatever you are good and proficient with.

Find something you like and what others think really won't matter. Some people are pros with a Sniper Rifle and will tell you it's the best but if you are not good or have the patience to use it, then don't bother.

They all think the M16, G36c, AK-47, Barret .50 cal(of course), and P90 with Double Tap Perk are good guns.

With Stopping Power, the M16 is the best gun in the game, but people will consider you a noob for using it.
Without Stopping Power the AK-47 is probably the best AR (but don't use a red dot or silencer on it, they reduce its damage, no joke).
With Stopping Power, the Barrett is the best sniper, unless you use ACOG, in which case take the M40 because the M40 does more damage with ACOG, so M40 + ACOG + SP is always a one hit kill.
Without Stopping Power, the Dragunov is the best sniper.
With Stopping Power, the RPD is the best LMG.
Without it is between the RPD and the M60.
Use a grip on LMGs.
The AK-74u is technically the best SMG, but it is difficult to use.
The MP5 and P90 are in second. The MP5 is better for close range (higher close range damage) and the P90 is better for medium and long range (higher ROF, less recoil).
Shotties are near worthless. The W1200 has a higher chance of a one shot kill but a low rate of fire. The M1014 has a high ROF but a really small magazine.
