My sister and her fiance were in a quarrel and she hit him. He does not wish to press charges but police arrested her anyway on one count of assault. The court date is in 6 weeks. To make a long story short, neither of them want to go 6 weeks without communication. My question is: How are ways police may find out if they have been contacting/seeing each other? Nobody knows about the incident except for myself and his mother.

The most obvious way is if they get in another fight.
Also, if they are together and one of them gets in any sort of legal trouble.
If communication is suspected, cell phone records could be subpoenaed.
People could snitch on them.
Safest way is to call each other on a landline that is not registered in their name. |
