I have no idea, that's why I'm asking. In my town newspaper every week there's a story about this, and all the people get is a "caution". Now I thought it was illegal to have weed. Here is an example of a story that appeared in my town newspaper this week, and every week there is a similar one. Can you please provide your comments/feedback?
"Officers stopped a vehicle on Central street for a speeding offence. When the officer approached the vehicle, a smell of freshly burnt marijuana was detected. The officer questioned the four parties in the vehicle if there was any marijuana in the vehicle, which all replied No. A search of the vehicle was conducted and the officers found marijuana and other narcotics in the vehicle and on their persons. All four persons were cautioned and the driver was issued a ticket for speeding."

I live in Pennsylvania and from what i know about Canada is that you are allowed to have a certain amount of weed on you before you can get into trouble. What im told is weed is Legal in canada unless over that certain amount. I'm not to sure what amount this may be but being from Pennsylvania this is what i have been told. So being hit with a caution they must not of had to much and more and likely it was all in one bag. being in more than one bag im sure they would get hit with intent to distribute. I hope that this little bit ive told you helps and good luck with other answers. |
