What are the consequences of paying a parking ticket ONE DAY late?

i got a parking ticket but don't have enough money till monday to pay for it. it will be just ONE day late monday. is this bad?

It depends on the jurisdiction in question - but most of the time the deadline is a hard and fast limit. If you are late you incur an additional penalty.

You could try talking to them and see if you can get an extension. Simply saying nothing and paying late won't do much for your chances to avoid an additional fine.
