What are the different degrees of DUI/DWI and what do they mean?

Example 4th degree DWI

Citicop

It depends on your state.

In Missouri, the first DWI is a class B Misdemeanor.
The Second (prior offender) is a Class A Misdemeanor.
Third (Persistent Offender): Class D Felony
Fourth (Aggravated Offender): Class C Felony
Fifth (Chronic Offender): Class B Felony

You serve 2 years in prison mandatory on a Chronic Offender charge.
