ok, so a boy in my school got arressted for a serious crime. Its all over the papers and tv, but they cant name him because hes only 17.
but he turns 18 next week.
will they be allowed to name him then, even though he was 17 when it happened?

Probably not.
If it's being handled through Juvenile Court, then their rules apply all the way through, even if he turns 18.
If he gets certified as an adult, they can release his name then. In Missouri, he'd already be considered an adult at 17. |
