If you have a Radio Shack nearby, stop in and buy their book of frequencies. It's printed on newsprint and it's cheap. It will have all your local codes. I've had three of their hand-held scanners - portable in case we have to evacuate (fires) or there's no electricity (earthquakes and fires). None have ever broken....and it takes forever for the batteries to wear out. |
