What are the risks of a fake ID?

If you get caught you would be taken to jail for fraud, but it just depends on the judge on what the sentence would be.

The way you could get caught is if the person you show the ID to doesn't believe that you are the age you claim to be. They can call the police and the officer will run the license through the system to see if the ID is valid or not.

They could charge you with fraud, and if they convict you, you could have a criminal record. Who cares however, it's your life, live it how you want.

It is technically a criminal activity, and for the future. you don't want a criminal record.
It will affect job applications, credit ratings, and alsorts.

I can see where you are going, but it would be wise to not try and con people.

All that will happen in the UK is that they'll take your fake ID off you and throw you out. If it's in a Uni bar they'll tell the college authorities.

If you've committed offences to do with buying alcohol etc. it's conceivable that the police will be called to deal with that, and if they do and you're charged and convicted you will have a criminal record.

It's nothing to do with fraud or uttering a false document etc..

they scan it under uv light but my mate had one a few years ago back in the day he never got caught once and they only scan it at the bar so 9 times out of 10 youll get in wherever ur going

everyone i know has one.
if you get caught your meant to go to court i think, but the bouncers never bother doing that. they say they will report you but they never bother, they just throw it in the bin and say it to scare you.

i was gonna get one off a website all my friends got them off, but theres some sort of a new law that means the fake ones off websites have to print on the back that its not real. so your gonna have to make sure it doesnt say that on it.........

You will have a criminal record.

Anyhow, most places won't accept any ID unless it is a passport, driving license or anything with a PASS hologram on it, like the validate card.
