my dad the popo and all he had to do was sign up after having so many hours in the military they you have to go to a training school after wards you become a court officer for about 2 years then u become a cop. (btw you sign up for training by asking at a local police station. |

By qualified, do you mean able to be hired? if so, that is just as simple as going to the web page of your local police and checking the employment qualifications. Mainly, they revolve around being a US Citizen, able to speak, read, write, and understand English, the ability to obtain a driver's license, the ability of carry a firearm (over 21), pass a physical test (running, sit-ups, push-ups) be in decent health, and not have committed any felonies. If you need more information, just ask. |
