Im pretty sure he cant do anything.
this is what happened:
I was driving, and I hit the intersection before he had, and I slowed to about 5 miles per hour (no not a complete stop, blah blah, im not posting this to get a driving lesson) and he then came to the stop after I was already through the intersection. He layed on his horn for a good.. 30 seconds or so. Pretty long time. So I stopped my car in front of him in the road and demanded to know what his problem was. He didn't say anything, so I got back into my car and continued home. He followed me home. He stopped at the end of my driveway and I asked if he had something he'd like to say. He says,"Yeah, I'm a juvenile court judge and you just ran that stop sign". I said "Congratulations, I'm not a juvenile, and I didn't run that stop sign. Would you like to keep harassing me some more?" And he drove away.
I am 20 years old.
Legally, he can't issue me a ticket or anything, that I'm sure of.
But is there anything he could do that I should be worried about?
Honestly, I think he's a douche bag out on a power trip trying to scare a 'kid', except i'm not a kid, and Im not scared of douche bags.
But if he does try anything, what would it be?
And im sure i could counter with harassment, as he did follow me to my home, right?
Additional Details
In my state, he can't have an officer issue me a ticket simply because he has authority. And secondly, I asked a state trooper, and while nothing would go very far I still could press charges against him for following me home. It would only give him a bad name, but I really don't think he wants bad publicity against his name. Thanks to everyone for answering my question! I feel much better knowing he really can't do anything except file a complaint, and I could file one right back at him. =]

If the officer finds the judge credible, which I'm sure he will, a ticket can be issued. An officer does not have to see the violation to issue a ticket, in fact, it happens all the time with traffic accidents. The officer did not see the violation, but can testify to it in court. The same here. If it goes to court, the judge will testify to what he saw. If the court finds him credible, you will be found guilty.
Harassment is an ongoing course of conduct that serves no purpose other than to intimidate, frighten, or annoy. Once incident is not harassment, and he could argue the contact served a purpose. |

Never, NEVER drive home if someone is following you!
You have absolutely no idea who he was, only what he told you, and he could have been lying.
Never lead someone to your house or apartment unless you know them personally and well! It's just too dangerous.
And please don't confront anyone in traffic like that because if they're mad enough they might try to hurt you. It's called road rage and you need to protect yourself from it. You might be right about something that happens on the road, but is it worth risking your life over? |

In the state that I live in, a judge can have an officer issue a ticket at any time. His being a juvenile judge doesn't mean anything. You should have called the local police department and had them send an officer out to verify who this guy was. If he was a judge, the attitude you had with him isn't going to help you at all. |

He could file a complaint w/ the cops but since he didn't call them to file a report or do anything to prove that you did there's nothing legally that he could do. |
