i just got my g1 on friday, and today, being sunday my mom took me to an empty parking lot to practise. Im extremely nervous to go on the road or be near any cars at all, until i get better and comfortable driving. As im about to make a turn some random vans come...i got a little nervous to be near another car... but my mom said dont worry keep drivingg.... as i make a turn this van follows us sooooooooo closelyy ...i was sooo nervouss ...then he stoped me from making my turn. I stoped ..and this random man just sat in his van watching us. my mom and I were scared at who this random man is so she told me to move up and turnn ..so i did...and he tried to cut me off serveral time...then blocked us from leaving. i was SOOO scared being near another car and scared that this random man in a random van was cutting me off and blocking me in i mean i could of hit him he was super close and im not use to that.....so my mom gets out of the car and asked why he was doing that ....he comes out of his van waering a sercuity jacket and says were on private property ...ssooo my mom says we were leaving anyways and started getten a little upset asking why he did that and that he scared me and i just got my g1 and i was just practisingg... he thenn writes down my moms licence plate and so my mom asked why he wrote it down... he said to make his report then got in the car and left. ....so my questions is what can he doo with her licance plate number? what can we do about it? he didnt even say who he was, or appreach is in the right way..?

He will make a report to his company. If in the near future someone does something criminal the report with you license plate number will go to the police and they will check to see if you had anything to do with it.
In other words, they will file a report and do nothing.
His behavior however is horrible. If I were your mother I would put in a complaint with the company that owns the lot. A security guard cannot detail you, unless they intend to turn you over to the police immediately. What he did was very close to illegal. |

Well he should have identified himself as a security gaurd in the beginning. But he can't do anything with your liscense plate numbers. He can make his own report, pretty much so that if you cpntinute to come back he can prove to police you were there before and are becoming a problem. But just go back and there shouldn't be an issue. |

He is probably just making a report for his company, the one whose lot it is. He is right that you shouldn't practice on private property. They could be liable for an accident. |
