What do you do if you LOSE your speeding ticket?

My boyfriend has his speeding ticket due and come to find out it is not where he left it!! Obviously this is not good. What can he do to obtain another copy to pay it off before consequences take place?

Call the clerk of court in the county he got the ticket and talk too them. They can direct him in how to take care of the ticket.

Yes, call your local court house and they will have it on record and ask them what you should do..

He needs to contact the county clerk where he got the ticket. Hopefully, he knows that. Look in the blue pages to find the county clerk.

This happened to me once.

Your best bet is to contact the courts and ask them these questions. They are the ones who will process your ticket and will know all the laws and regulation. You should also ask the courts if you are allowed to take a driving school class. This will prevent your insurance from going up and points from being placed on your license. Just make sure you get the courts permission before doing so. If you don’t the courts will reject your driving school certificate. Good luck!
