The beating was sick! They were innocent citizens, but that didn't matter! There was a bank robbery and these cops were looking to take out their angry power trip on someone! They used way over the top excessive force, and the media spins it like it was ok because they were on edge! They were not on edge, did you see how many cops there were, they planned to hit someone and were all on stand bye and ready! This is getting fricking rediculous!

It is no different than the cops tazering that kid in the Florida college for asking John Kerry real questions.

It is no different than the cops assaulting that ex-football player and then tazing him when he politely asked the police officer to calm down.

Its no different than the security gaurd at that grade school who broke a young girls arm for dropping cake on the floor.

It is how the cops are trained, the Martial Law "New World Order" way!

You are no longer allowed any rights, you ask a cop something when you are pulled over, you will be tazed or worse. They want every single American on their New World Order grid! And they will get us there by pulling us over one by one. They will now take your DNA and fingerprint you even if you have committed no crime.

Bush just passed a law to take DNA from every new born in the United States, how sick is that!

We are living in Nazi Germany! Get your National ID so when the Gastapo pull you over you can show them, when they say "Show me your papers!"

This is no joke. Go to you tube and search for Excessive force or tazing. They are doing it everywhere to innocent average people just like you or me, or our kids!

I think you were generalizing too much and making a statement more than a question. As an officer, I disagree with the actions of these particular officers. However, I don't think this is as wide spread as some would like to make it out to be.
I personally would never jeopardize my salary and benefits, simply to put the boots to someone. This was way over the top and hopefully they will be held responsible for their actions.

Thank God this was on camera, or else most ppl would'nt believe it. Just imagine how often this goes on, but nothing is done about it.

Many problems arise simply because you have only ONE version of an entire incident. Somebody puts a thought in to anothers mind about how officers were "taking turns kicking and punching when the suspect was cuffed" yet the video is blurry, taken from a distance, and with no audio.

I'd venture to say that the Police Chief/Commissioner is right on track by ordering an internal investigation before making any statement concerning this issue.

I've visited Philadelphia countless times to visit family and friends and never had any problems with the police. Maybe it's just my perception of how thugs and criminals are handled that makes me wonder what your agenda is with the comments you make.

You see countless officers and patrol cars, what appears to be three or four suspects who (according to the news media) were allegedly involved in a burglary.

Lets not confuse innocent citizens with what appears to be several people totally disrgarding public safety by running from the police in a high speed chase.

My suggestion would be to get the WHOLE story before passing judgement!

Outrageous!!! If they are the quilty though, then good.. People need to get there *** wooped to learn... Put it this way if your daddy an't whip your *** then the police should or someone... People always thinken their bad *** untill they get shot up, jumped or put in jail.... That's whats wrong in this country theirs too many laws... Now in Italy you do something wrong F_ck the police, the whole neighborhood whoops your ***!!! If they were inocent then the police should be charged!!!! those are my thoughts...

Philly is the 6th most dangerous city in the USA the cops need to be like that in cities like this.

I know they asked not to judge based on the video;but come on! The police had them so outnumbered. It just looks so obvious. Is there a good excuse to push the driver to the ground and kick repeatedly by several officers? When he didn't even try to resist?

When you allow someone who scores a 30 on an 8th grade level civil service test to become a cop, you are essentially giving a gun and a badge to a moron.

I hold judges accountable for the behaviour of cops.

I am appalled by the police. They DID resist arrest, but, the plice went way too far. I think the Rodney King beating was much more justified than this.

You should get the police officers story. The truth usually lies somewhere in the middle. Personally, I feel the police officers over stepped their bounds but the suspects could have all been trying to resist arrest. By kicking them it helps subdue the suspect.
