What do you think about the Dallas Officer who has recieve death threats?

This Dallas Police Officer was doing his job. Ryan Moat did not think about what could have happened as he was speeding and ran a red light. Ryan Moat should have used his cell phone to call the Police and ask for an escort. This Police Officer was doing his job. Why should he be repremanded and threatend?

You don't even realize the excuses some of these Offenders will use. They will lie their way out of everything. If Moat was in such a hurry, why didn't he use his cell phone and ask for a Police escort. Then again why weren't they by the death bed, as they knew she had only a short time to live. If they knew she was so close to death, they should have been by her side earlier.

Its not right that he is receiving death threats. But he did screw up. There was nothing wrong with pulling the car over. But drawing his firearm without provocation is alone grounds for termination. Add to the fact that apparently he has done something similar to this before with another NFL player (Zach Thomas), makes you wonder. It sounds to me like he wanted to make a big arrest and blew this thing completely out of proportion. Now its blowing up in his face.

He should be fired and the death threats are letting him know how the public feels about the police and the way they treat the people that they work for! Even the chief of police said that it was not handled properly.
