What do you think about the officer who beat the handcuffed woman?

1st I don't see anything suggesting that she was intoxicated. 2nd I think they need to arrest the cop on attempted murder.

Typical of the problem in law enforcement and of officials to not weed out these imbalance people but to cover for there so called brothers officers .

It took me 15 minute to see the whole thing and stuff. Yes base on the guy's explanation (the writing) I believe that the cop should be arrested and be in jail.

Unfortunately cops do not have to have morals or know how to shoot. For example look at the Portland Police of Oregon.

I have no doubt that someone beat her up. I also have no doubt that the officer was, at the very least, complicit in the beating if not the perpetrator. That he turned off the camera showed deliberate disregard, as well as contempt, for procedure. And I have no doubt that the department has no integrity for blowing the whole thing off.

Was she combative? Absolutely. Would that be irritating? Without a doubt. Did she require constraint? You bet. But there are means of restraint that do not contribute to TWO black eyes and that amount of blood.

The police are supposed to be PROFESSIONALS. That means controlling the situation, not letting the situation control THEM. If they're not going to be held to PROFESSIONAL standards, then why go through the sham? Just hire goons and legbreakers from the mob, give them guns and billy clubs, forget the tasers and pepper spray and probable cause, and let them go on a rampage. Crime will go down out of pure fear and there will be fewer problems.

In fact, why even bother with cops at all? Save a lot of taxes and just have citizen vigilante squads? We can beat up each other for a lot less taxes than having renegade cops do it.

Why do you automaticaly assume he beat her when there is no proof?
There's blood in only one spot on the floor. Wouldn't there be blood in several places if she'd been beaten all over the room?
Other than the injuries that she has (consistent with a fall) there are no other marks on her face. Are we expected to believe that she was beaten with such precision that nothing else on her face was harmed? No minor cuts. No swelling. No bruising.

I feel the officer was unjustified in his actions but then again if your going to resist listening to a police officer don't think they'll beg you to comply with them.

I think she should be more carefull when trying to escape while drunk. this way she wont trip and smash her face into the floor,
