I think she is hidden by Robert Murath. He lost a daughter who looked like her in a divorce custody battle. So added up he and friends have her hidden.

I'll probably get a lot of hate for this, but I think her parents accidentally killed her and hid the body somewhere. You can tell when someone is a killer just by the look in their eyes.

The chances of someone just happening to walk past are tiny.
The chances of them keeping the poor kid alive are virtually zero.
Of course we don't know how long the parents left the kids on their own.

The way the parents have acted and kept the story going is extremely unusual. It may be that they are extremely unsusual parents but statistically this means they know more than they let on. Read any books written by crime psychologists and it all smells very fishy.

Sorry but whatever anyone says the parents have to blame themselves whatever happened.

The parents (who the police found out were drugging their children with sedatives or sleeping pills or something like that) made her OD, they admit to going off to check on the kids at intervals throughout the night and the group that makes up their alibi were all doctors who had left their kids at their rooms too - I reckon they all drugged their kids that's why they are trying to keep under the radar.

Maddie was ALOT less valuable than the babies to a kidnapper. There is a shortage of white babies and some people will pay thousands to adopt a white baby where as they cannot with a child who already knows her parents and name ect. So it does not make sense that someone would take Maddie and not the others. Its kinda sick to think about that buts its true - why not at least take both.

What I dont understand is that all the supposed sightings of her and nobody had the guts to approach the people with her,

Along with most answerers I think she was probably taken by a paedophile, abused and murdered soon after her disappearance. Her body may well have been dumped at sea as I think that would have been the quickest way to have done it without trace.
However I cling to hope that that she is still alive and being kept somewhere by another family who are loving her.
The case moves me deeply. Every day since her disappearance I have been praying for her, night and morning and will continue to do so, asking that the truth of what happened will come to light so that her family may have closure, one way or the other. I hope itâ€™s in joy.
At least two people know the truth, God and the person who took her. I pray that the One will move the other to confess or reveal where she may be found, but I know that He won't do it by force. We all have the ability to do wrong things if we choose and when we do, these are often at someone else's expense. Think what the world would be like if this were not so. Where would the line be drawn as to what was allowed and what not? Beautiful Madeleine with her big enquiring eyes and lovely smile - who would harm such a child? Who could possibly take pleasure in her pain and feel good about it? Why do we wound eachother with our actions and our words? I think we only have to spend a moment looking inside ourselves to see the answer. Though most of us wouldn't go as far as murder, how many can say that they haven't at some time thought about it?

Praying like this and lighting a candle in a church where they have them (they don't in mine) is for me all I can do - and I believe it helps one day to bring an answer.

I think she was taken, raped by a sick pedophile and killed. It sounds awful and it is but its the most likely outcome I think.

I think she was kidnapped and probably killed by a stranger soon afterwards. The tragic thing is that Kate and Gerry McCann were out with loads of friends that night and all of their friends also left their children alone in their apartments. It was just bad luck that someone chose to take Kate and Gerry's child. The detectives are saying that Madeleine woke up in the middle of the night and ventured outside into the arms of the stranger. Poor little girl. I hope wherever she is that she is not suffering.

I think she was probablt killed shortly after she was taken, and dumped somewhere. i dont think ne1 wud hav kept her alive for this long. so sad.

i have a friend who is a clairvoyant and she say's little maddy was strangled soon after been taken and is buried near shallow water near the holiday apartment she was taken from .hope my friend is wrong for once.

funny you mention that i was reading about her parents releasing a new photo of her, of what she would look like now she is 6 so that they can raise awareness again for her...sadly i think shes dead but there is always that chance, loads of people have been missing for years and years and then just appear again. sad really and such a shame x

I think, that some one has abducted her cos they cant have children and now she's there daughter somewhere in the world.
