Last night i was walking down a street and my friend seen these police on foot over th road so he turnd down a ally way and i just kept walking and the officer asked question and wrote the answers in his phone then let me go. What does this mean would i now have a stop form or did he just try to scare me

It may be that a incident or incidents have taken place in the area, although not known to your friend. The police have the right to take records of who was in a area at a particular time for the possibility of further investigation at a later date. |

Policemen tend to take action when they see suspicious behaviour. I wouldn't worry about it. The Police State already know EVERYTHING about you anyway- thanks to text messages, mobile phones, emails, Google and Yahoo.
At this point it would be nice to say "if you have done nothing wrong you have got nothing to worry about" but that's just not true, unfortunately.
In your case, I wouldn't lose a moment of sleep over it. It's no big deal. |

Because your friend acted suspicious and evasive the Police wanted to talk to him/her to see if he/she had something to hide.
You've got nothing to worry about, it's just the Police doing their job. Are you sure he 'wrote what you said in his phone'?? |

ok here's how it works...one cop will distract your attention (usually with a phone or pen and pad) , while the other "sneaks" around behind and sprays you with a chemical agent that makes you glow bright purple when viewed with "special thermal imaging glasses*(very high tech and only available to elite beat cops)
this will allow them to monitor your activities for up to a month and a day, during which time you will be deemed "hostile to society" or "just plain stupid" (which is by far the best outcome)........or they'll just leave you alone |
