If you don't pay your speeding tickets a warrant will be issued for your arrest and if you are pulled over you will be arrested and your car impounded. The fines and other penalties can increase the longer you put off getting them taken care of. |

that happened to me... look up the city where you got the ticket and call the courthouse in that city and they should be able to direct you in the right direction |

I know from experience that you can have an additional fine added and have your license suspended.
I would suggest calling the police department where you got the ticket. |

call the agency that issued you the ticket and ask for the right number to call, there shuold be a P.O box address on the citation as well write them a letter and explain your situation.
If you don't take care of this promptly, they'll suspend your license and you will be picked yo next time you get pulled over |

Is there an address? Or the name of the court anywhere on the ticket? That way you can look it up through the internet or the yellow pages. You have to take of it, if you don't a warrant can be issued for your arrest, the fine will jump substantially, and if you get pulled over again after that they will arrest you. Best just to take care of it any way you can! |

Well...you should try to contact the court in the county you received the ticket. Chances are if it's been that long since you've paid it, you probably have a warrant on your name. Nothing huge, but if you were to get pulled over again, they could get you for not paying the ticket, failure to appear or something like that. I know, it almost happened to me, but I paid it right before the deadline! |

Look at the ticket there should be an address or a Phone No. for the Police Station that you can contact, if not contact the Clerk of Courts in that County City State and get what information you need.
If you do not pay the ticket you can be subject to having a warrant posted for you in ALL STATES under the new lisencing laws as of 1999 under the CDL law 1 licence and that no# is now recorde in every state so any state can act on the warrant no matter what state it was issued in and most state will arrest you as will as take your lisence from you.
You need to take care of the ticket before it's to late. |

In nearly every state, it works something like this. You have the opportunity to simply mail in the fine, pleading guilty or no contest. If you do not, or you plead not guilty, you are expected to show up in court. By not doing so, you are "in default". This almost immediately results in a suspension of your license or driving priveleges. For at least the last 20 years, states have all reciprocated, meaning that if you are suspended in Hawaii, you are considered suspended in Alaska, Florida or Maine, as well. If you still have a license, I have to assume that it is from another state, and things just haven't caught up with you yet. Call the DMV in the state where you got the ticket. They can tell you what is up. |

That is funny! But if you dont pay it, depending on which state they do a number of things like loosing your license a bigger fine and jail time. Some states will just blow it off and then they will get to it later. |

I never heard of an officer giving you a ticket without the amount?? Is this guy legit? Try getting in touch with your local police station and explain your situation. They should have every ticket on file. |
