Usually if depends what the value is of the stolen goods and if force was used.
It will be a blemish on your record, not sure if it ever comes off - it is the US after all and Arkansas at that! |

Depends on HOW you stole it.
If you just stole it, then that would be considered theft, however, if the amount was above $400 that you stole, that is considered grand theft, and is punishable by at least a year in prison, and may be a misdemeanor or felony.
If it was just petty theft, it is considered just a missdemeanor and you may only have to pay a fine or up to six months in jail.
Now, if you commited robbery (theft with the threat of harm) then that is considered a felony and you could have serious charges placed on you. |
