In Colorado (sure similar in NJ), they get a ticket, mom and pop get called, kiddo goes to court. If its a first offense, kiddo gets diversion, community service or probation (or combination), with the opportunity to have the case "disappear".
If the contact occurs on school grounds then, the school will have various issues...mostly likely more severe than the above.
Contrary to what the pot heads would have you believe, marijuana possession is not considered to be crime of the century. |
