I suppose it depends upon the crime and the laws of
the country that you *vacation* in, there are extradition
treaties where the US can have the local police agencies
arrest you and you would be transported back here to
face a trial, or if it was just really a vacation they would
wait until you return.
Just remember, if you do the crime you had better be ready to
serve the time. |

There is an international LAW called :EXTRADITION
Sorry looks like the Vacations over:
Extradition is the official process by which one nation or state requests and obtains from another nation or state the surrender of a suspected ( YOU in this case)or convicted criminal.
(Between nations, extradition is regulated by treaties. Between states or other political subdivisions on a domestic level, extradition is more accurately known as rendition.)
***Oh Yeah and WHILE you wait to be extradited to the US you get to sit in an ASIAN Jail for months ..LOL ...and that my friend is Noooo fun!
Believe me,by the time the United States comes to get you ,
You will be Happy to go to Jail back home in the states and Bunk with "Big Daddy Bubba"
If your that lucky...cause some people leave "Asian Jails" with a toe tag. |

depends on the crime. but when you get back they can get you. if you are in a country that has a extrediction treaty with the US their local/federal police can pick you up and send you back depending on severity. |

If you committed a crime and were arrested, part of your bond would be to surrender your passport, and conditions that you do not leave the jusidiction of the court without permission. This would effectively cancel your "vacation". But let's say you find a way to leave in violation of your bond. You would forfeit that bond, be tried/sentenced in absentia, and as soon as you step foot back in country, assuming you could without your passport, be snapped up and off to jail.
Many Countries have treaties to cover extradition too, so the local police could come get you. |
