They will both wind up in solitary confinement, possibly for the rest of their stay. Other privileges such as telephone calls, library, and recreation could be taken away.

In addition, assaulting an inmate is a felony in most states. That will increase their time in jail substantially.

you are told to break it up and if that doesnt work then you will be broken up and could either be put in solidarity confinement or even have additional charges brought against you
