i live in ohio and wonder if they even exist in my state, and what i would have to do to get one

Cannabis cards and clubs exist only in California so far, but it's still illegal on the federal level everywhere anyway. Pothead docs will sign the statement required for a cannabis card for almost anything. Even the dreadful disease of not being high enough.

You must have a medical condition that needs cannabis for a treatment. I remember a man in Cols who had one. I won't name him because people in OH will know who he is but he had one for glaucoma. They only give them out when nothing else has worked. People undergoing chemo suffer great nausea so they will be given the cards as well.
