I am 22 years old and am tired of paying $250 a month for minimum liability coverage on my vehicle. I was told by an aquaintence that there are/is special program offered to people like me who have a troubled driving record. (The points against my license are all due to speeding - Oops!)

Hate to tell you this but you will be paying the high premiums until 1. three years after your last violation and 2. you turn 25.
The program he was probably referring to is called assigned risk and it's as expensive as anything else, if not more so. That's where people who can't get insurance any where else go and they pay dearly for the coverage. |
