What is meant by the term "thin blue line"?

Also, what two conditions increase the likelihood the US supreme court will support the use of deadly force?

Actually, the thin blue line represents the small amount of officers that stand between the good in society and the bad. Visually, it is represented by a larger side (the good) seperating a smaller side by a thin blue line.

Sorry for the other part, I am not in the US.

The Thin Blue Line:

In most art depictions this is shown with a thin blue line dividing between two same color sides. The Thin Blue Line is a term used by law enforcement to show the small amount of sworn officers (blue line) that separate and protect the good from bad citizens. A separation of good and evil if you will. Good Question!

the wall of blue, thin blue line. brother law enforcement officers protecting each other. even if it costs you your life they will plant a weapon on you and swear you pulled it. thats why they all carry a gun on their leg, they call it their throwaway.when they raid a house and find multiple guns as long as they get a weapons charge some magically disappear, they supported it in 2006.1) Deadly force was not necessary because less intrusive alternatives were
available, or

2) If deadly force was necessary, the officer's prior actions created the
necessity.
