What is probation?!?!?!?!?!?!?

If I get probation for shoplifting what will that consist of?

IS PROBATION THE SAME AS COMMUNITY SERVICE?

it depends on the crime you get and how old you are.

for all: it means you have to ck in with your probation officer on a regular basis (you will set that up once you get one)

Means you can not leave the state and for some can't leave the city. If you want to you have to get promission from your probation officer b4 hand. (do it as soon as you know)

You have to have a job or get one so you can show you are a responsible person in society and make an earing so you can support yourself.

some has to wear a home bound device (can't remember what it is called) but you can go further than 150 ft from the device attached to your phone for example. you have to ck in with that everyday sometimes 2x a day.

plus there are a few other things.

and no community service and having a probation officer is not the same, however they can make you do community service.

for shoplifting and if its your offense, you will more likely get community service and some other things.

getting a probations officer usually means you have done other stuff in the past or what you did was pretty bad (there area many reason why you can get one).
