Being a police officer, I would have to say that the key job of enforcing the laws is to be firm but fair with all that I come in contact with. It is to be respectfull to people even when they are not so respective of us. When getting arrested people are generally not happy, but I keep a certain level of professionalism while doing this and get a certain respect from people. In my personal experiences I have had more people shake my hand, apologize, and thank me as I am leaving the jail.
The key job(s) are professionalism, courteousness, integrity, honesty and being fair. |

"Solving problems" related to crime and the fear or crime is the key job of the modern-day police officer.
That doesn't always mean "arresting the bad guy"... but often it does. |

Im seeking to serve the law... I believe that people who dream of becoming a cop, an attorney/lawyer or a detective/ CSI. They need to have the ability to benefit for your country... That is to simply
- Respect the law and others that is... Never stain Freedom, Justice or even Equality
- Find a path to benifit society judicially
- Integrity
Depending on what jobs, your life and possibly your family could be in danger because you face lots of cases as you gain experience through your career. Thus
- You need to be brave, and do whatever it takes to protect yourself and your family ( THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT I BELIEVE)
- If your brave you require the skills to be smart, and somewhat strong, and athletic depending on what job you take.
All these aspects make the key to serve the eyes of the law. But if you really are interested in law enforcement never forget the most important key Perserverance to succeed in gaining that job |

screw over as many people as you can then laugh as you bring them to jail. cops are a joke and most likely get hired for "respect" because they carry a badge and a gun. some respect a badge. But everyone respects a gun. Dirty cops all of them i hate them all they should all drown if you ask me |
