What is the procedure for state park rangers when someone implicates someone for stealing?

what are the rangers supposed to do after its been reported that someone witnessed somone stealing?


    

Well Now What
Take statements from all person seeing it happen
.
Statements from the owner of the property that is said to of been taken
.
Then find the person that is implicated in the thief
.
And call the local police department to take the person in to custody
.
The park ranger has no way to put that person in a lock up the local Police department has to do that
.
And the local court system will take care of the trial of the person if the
.
Prosecutor finds enough evidence to bring the person to the eyes of the court for a judgment by either plea of guilty or by a trial by a jury
.
