What is the proper protocol for officers responding to a domestic dispute,this is in regards to the Pittsburgh?

There has been controversary because the mother warned the 911 operator her son had weapons and bullets - but the operator did not relay the information.

Will that person lose their job?

"It was a terrible omission," said Bob Full, the Allegheny County chief of emergency services. "It should have been added to the call. The dispatch should have gone out as a domestic between mother and son and there are guns in the house."

That is awful and yes she could lose her job but in regards to response they were probably already responding at an emergency level and they wouldn`t send swat anyway so maybe they could have brought more than there service weapons upon arrival but this would not really be a difference either Pittsburgh has a good police force they know what there doing this was just a mistake and those happen

That is so sad..whatever happens with the operator will be up to the police department..prosecutor's office..
