What is wrong with some police officer that they would do something like this?

First of all, Paul Schene, the officer in that video, was fired and charged with assault. I suspect the officer with him will be fired too, for failing to act.

Second of all, that incident went unnoticed for four months, until another officer heard about it, reviewed the tapes, and then turned them in to his supervisor. Yes, there are bad cops out there, but good cops don't like them either.

He's a bad cop. And so was the guy that watched it happening and did nothing. Hey guess what? They got turned in by a cop.
MOST cops are high integrity, noble, honorable people.
It's funny how whenever a bad cop does something (of course he gets punished), it gets media attention for months.
Yet, when a good cop does something brave and selfless? Absolutely nothing.
Officer I know ran into a burning building and rescued 2 people. He got 2nd and 3rd degree burns. I googled his name and found nothing.
Hypocrisy is disgusting. All the good cops hate the bad ones FYI, it isn't like they're all in it together.
No cop I know is anything less than heroic. They do stuff all the time that would make your stomach turn at how selfless it is. And they get no recognition for it. That is a hero in the truest form: someone who is selfless no matter what, even when they don't get thanked or recognized at all. What cops do in the quiet when nobody is watching.. that is what protects this country. Next time you see a cop, I'd think twice about saying he's a bad person. He's more than likely one of the greatest (yet smallest) hero you'll see.

The good ones don't like them any more than you do. One bad apple doesn't make us all bad. Look who turned him in-a fellow officer. I would have done the same.

why would you "hate and dis respect all cops" because of what 0.000000000000000000000000001% of the police force does?

there are bad eggs in ALL professions. there are athletes who cheat, politicians who are corrupt, bankers who are way too selfish, Chefs who cook ****/unsafe to eat food, etc etc.

it is EXTREMELY ignorant, and childish to "hate" everyone in a group/profession because of the actions of one person.

25 years ago a police officer was there to help you. Now it is a different world. I had a break in and some guns were stolen. the Glendale Police recovered a revolver and informed me the weapon would be held 6 months after the persons trial in case of appeal. Phoenix Police recovered my AK-47 in a drug raid. The Phoenix officer on the break in informed me the same thing Glendale did.

The Phoenix officer was near retirement and another officer took over the case. 24 hours after I talked over the phone to the officer that headed the drug raid he showed up at my front door and with other officers searched my home.

After the 6 months had passed Glendale phoned me telling me my .357 had been given to the PPD at that is the area the break in happened. For the next 6 months I call both officers from the PPD only getting an answering machine and not once getting a return call.

Out of desperation I phoned Glendale asking them what to do. An officer gave me a number to call and the next day at 7:00 AM I received 2 calls. Both PPD officers telling me I could pick up my guns.

The .357 Glendale had stored in 2 plastic bags, one with the gun the other with the cylinder. The AK was solid rust with a tag saying it was an SKS assault rifle with 30 round clip.It also had the address of where it was taken from. The clip had been stolen while in their possession.

These two police departments and all the run ins I have had with them is as different as night and day. I have seen old women mased for nothing more than crying. Now with their tanks and m-16 it is no wonder they no longer have to swear an oath to the Constutition.

Being able to get away w/this type of behavior is what drives most to become cops in the 1st place. They are in it for the power & control. The Individual above states the cop was fired for the incident. I would have to see the documentation to believe it. Most would get a 2 week paid vacation for this behavior.

Sorry...but that cop may have saved that girls life. Do you have any idea what other girls would have done to her if she did that when she got into the dorm rooms & out of holding? She would have ended up with a plunger stuck in places you couldn't possibly believe. What did she do to get into that cell & what is her future if she doesn't wake up at age 15? It's a harsh world & prison is even harsher. I hope that girl never has to go past juvi...she won't make it.
Some lessons are hard to learn & even harder to watch unless you've been past the point of no return. To kick off a shoe is no way of responding to an order to take them off. All inmates know this. If not...they soon learn it.

That says it all right there. F@ck I know cops who defend that f@ck Drew Peterson because it is more important to stick with their brothers. Know what "that incident went unnoticed for four months" tells me? That station was filled with crooked cops.
