I met up with a guy to sell him some phones. When I showed him the phones, he took off with them and jump into a vehicle. So I followed them to get their license plates. I couldn't call the cops because they had my phone. I chased them and getting close to a red light, they swerves at me and got in front of my vehicle and I couldn't stop so I hit him in the back of his car. He still keeps driving off about 1 block aways and I still didn't get a chance to get the liscense plate number, so I still followed them. He was driving wreckles and speeding and lost control of the Car and rolls over. I still saw the guys get out of the vehicle and run off. I figured if I went after them it would be dangerous ( I dont know they could had a gun) So I just left the scene and got their Plates. Went back home to get a phone and called the cops to make a report, . And Come to find out the guys went back to the scence and made a report and reported that I rammed them and chased them for no reason. I didnt stop because I was in fear that they might of had a gun. I didnt finish making a report, the cop wanted to come in ( and I figured since the other guys made the report before I did I would have gotten arrested) What legal trouble am I in, And how can I prove my case. I have the posting were I was selling the phones, I have phone records that he called me. But I tried to call them and the suspended their service. Please advice.

Sounds like you shouldn't be in any trouble but its just their words against yours. Unless you find some witnesses. |
