What should I do? Should I report an incident?

I was in my office when two men entered. It was a college's ex boy friend with whom she has been having a lot of problems. I knew as she would share with us sometimes. I went out to inquire about the visit and he says we are clients. The assistant had already informed them that they did not have any appointments with us. My colleague jumped on the phone to call the police saying he is not suppose to be here he told her I am going to watch them arrest you. at that point I nicely started to ask him to leave he asked for my name and I gave it to him. I found out that he was filming us the whole time which I did not like at all I asked the friend to hand me the camera and I see the other guy filming me asking me to grab it from him as he will get it on camera and it will be an assault against me .what did I do to get involved on such things??!!! they made sure to film all of us and I did not budge at that point because I know that he had my colleague arrested and even her mother on several occasions for small things like she touched me or she cursed me out. I know that this psycho has no life and I don't know if he will build a stupid case against me or have me involved. He seems to know the law and how to play with it. What should I do ... Should I report an incident? when I asked the police they advised to consult an attorney and wouldn't comment. Please help!!

Absolutely report an incident. Did the assistant ask them to leave when she determined that they did not have an appointment? If so, they committed tresspassing by refusing to leave. It is unlikely they will be prosecuted after the fact, since they did leave before police showed up.

Does your colleague have a restraining order against this man? If so, he has violated it.

Did he try to prevent your colleague from calling the police? That's a crime.

I hope you're seeing a pattern here. Even if he was very careful to not break any laws, his presence was unwanted and intimidating. You are within your rights to ask him to not tresspass at your office again. If he persists, call the police. If he refuses to leave when the police are present, he will be arrested. If he persists in a pattern of harassment, that is grounds for a restraining order.

Do not hesitate to file a report of the incident with the police. If you believe you are in danger of any harm from him, or if you believe he is trying to provoke you into breaking the law, do not hesitate to contact an attorney. He is clearly in the wrong here, and there's no reason you should put up with this.

Your story is unclear. If you grabbed the camera, then yes he can try to arrest you. However,
I am sure the judge will drop everything once he hears the case. The guy went looking for trouble, and found it.
