What the are the laws for bounty hunters and how can i become one?

Hi everyone. Im in high school and i really want to go into criminal justice, mainly bounty hunting. i live in california btw.
So i have a lot of questions on bounty hunting.
1. Are bounty hunters allowed to carry weapons?
2. Do they have the right to kill?
3. I heard this on yahoo, Is it true that bounty hunters can go inside the victim's home without a warrant?
4. Is bounty hunting an actual job like a police man, or is it like any person can go out and turn someone in for money.
5. How would i become one? are there training for it?
6. Is it true that bounty hunters cannot wear uniforms or have badges of any kind since they are not police?
7. Don't bounty hunters need some kind of proof that they are one from getting into trouble.

1) Depends on what state and whether or not they have a CCW or what ever your state calls it.

2) Only as the laws allow for a private citizen in that state. Basicly self defense only, not even that in a few if you have a place to retreat.

3) If your holding paper (bold) on an indivival you can enter their home to "re-arrest" him/her. The Decision of the United States Supreme Court ruling in the Taylor vs. Taintor case, which gives authority to Bounty Hunters. When bail is given the principal is regarded as delivered to the custody of his sureties (Bail Bondsman). Their Dominion is a continuance of the original imprisonment. Whenever they choose to do so, they may seize and deliver him up in their discharge, and if that cannot be done at once they may imprison him until it can be done. They may exercise their rights in person or by agent (Bounty Hunter). They may pursue him into another state; may arrest him on the Sabbath; and if necessary, may break and enter his house for that purpose. The seizure is not made by virtue of new process. None is needed. It is likened to the re-arrest by the Sheriff of an escaping prisoner.

4) Bond recovery or bounty hunter either as a bondsman or for a bondsman. Working for a bondsman you get tipicly 5-10% of the bond when bringing in a skip.

5) Depends on the state. You either need to be a bondsman or work for a bondsman. Depending on state you may have to take training to do the job.

6) Depends on the state. There are plenty of Bail enforcemnet badges to be had on the internet. As for uniform most of the time it would be a henderance to the job. Skip sees uniform, skip runs.

7) You need to have a copy of the bond agreement from the bondaman. If the state your working in requires it you need to have your lisence or certificate that you are a bounty hunter.

The laws for bounty hunters in Canada are as follows. If you "arrest" anyone here then you have committed a crime. Even if get across the border Canada will seek to have you extradited back here to stand trial. Also you prisoner gets returned. This did happen once.
Any criminals wanted in the USA and living in Canada must be extradited in the legal manner.

You must now have a bondsman licence and go to a class to get one, about 250 bucks to get. You must have an insurer to cover bond or work for someone who does, you can wear a bond recovery agent badge or ID on your clothing. You must contact local law enforcement to show your bail revokation. Yes you may carry weapons in plain sight, you may enter a house without a warrent, they may defend themselves, just like a cop or private citizen.
