While Hitler undoubtedly committed uncountable, unspeakable crimes, these were not "charges". To be "charged" with a crime you have to be brought to justice. He committed suicide and hence was never tried.

But more bizarro is why the media is so silent on the atrocities committed by Mao (63 million slaughtered) and Stalin (23 million murdered). Hilter was in third place with 20 million. Could it be that Chinese and Russian peasants don't count as people, but Europeans do?

Well, he commited suicide in his Berlin bunker before getting captured. There were no charges and no trial.

Was he charged? He died before capture, was he charged ? He deserved it that's for sure , but unless he was charged after death , I did not think it ever happened, nonetheless he deserved to be strung and quartered for all his horrible crimes against humanity!

He most likely would have stood charges for crimes against humanity had he not committed suicide before being captured. although there is a good chance that had the Russians captured him they would have put him on trial in russia and executed him before he had a chance for any war crimes trials.

Germany was forced to fight or starve. So many things leading up to the war you could imagine. But know this....Hitler didn't bomb London first. Hitler didn't create the first concentration camps. If Germany was surrounded by enemies. Germany had no choice but to expand, because Russia was about to attack Germany and if they stayed within the confines of their border the war would have lasted a few months. If you learn your enemy is about to attack you don't ask question. You watch for signs of mobilization. Troop movements and this tells you what is about to take place. You have to remember Russia was a communnist country and communism was at their doorstep. In fact if Germany hadn't fought WWII, communism would have taken over Europe. They tried to take Spain, but failed. I think what happened was the people learned what the commies had done in other countries and decided no way.
