What will I get for being caught drinking underage& being out past curfew?

I was the only one of the four kids who did not lie about drinking, and was very cooperative. The officer said this would be included in the report and whoever might be a little easier on me. But what will happen to me? I've read fines, community service& classes? Also, this is my first offense. And if it's fines, how much? I live in Ohio, btw.

since it's your first offense maybe some classes and probation...it's not that big of a deal...you're definately not going to jail....:) good luck... |

Worse thing will probably be the waiting to find out. It was for me when I got caught underage drinking years ago (in Australia though - only got an official caution). I can't believe you guys have a curfew though! that's harsh |

Pay a fine. Depending on the judge he may include an alcohol awareness class or an essay. |

The Christian fundamentalists in Ohio will send you to psychological testing then to a rehab center.

It's worse than you think.
From Findlay, Ohio newspaper:
Jennifer and Aaron, both for underage consumption; $150 fines. Three jail days suspended if they each attend underage consumption program.
In Cleveland just for being out past curfew: If minors violate curfew, parents can receive a $100 ticket. |
