A license suspension I hope, no one has an excuse for driving like that! |

You are likely to be disqualified from driving and to recieve a fine.
In some areas there may be options involving driving courses and similar schemes but disqualification and fines are the basic penalties for such excessive speeding |

Almost definatley a ban. It all depends on the magistrate on the day as to how long you get. |

Going over 100mph, is a ban, and a large fine, sorry but your going to be off the road for a while, and expect your insurance to go up. |

Probably a years ban, anything upwards of a hundred and fifty pound fine, and retake your test. And the right to catch buses, trains, or cadge lifts off your mates. You prat. If you're going to do it, watch your back, you idiot. |

you will loose your licence for 2 years and have a hefty fine they will want to break you financially for it. |

firstly you are looking at an instant ban for travelling at over a ton minimum 6 months get yourself a good solicitor and plead that you were only doing 99mph this allows for 10% speedometer error this might help you to keep your licence, but see the duty solicitor. |

Unless you have a very good case to put to the magistrate I an afraid to say that you are looking at a ban, points and a hefty fine. |
|

Any speeding offence which is 30mph or more over the limit is likely to get a driving ban of probably 1 month, but it could be more. It does depend on the magistrates and the severity of the offence. Of course you will receive a fine as well. |

a friend of mine was caught speeding at 100mph, he got 6 points on his license, and because he already had 6, his license was taken off him and had to pay a £250 fine plus court fees.
he drives slowly now. |

A VERY heavy fine along with court cost, possibly lose your license------------all depends on who the judge is and just how strict he/she might be. |

To be honest, I guess we are all guilty of speeding at some time or another. But during the day on an A road?
Sorry mate, but as everyone else has said, you are looking at a ban and fine. (think yourself lucky that it isn't a custodial sentence)
Moral of the story? DON'T SPEED!!! |
|

To be doing that speed on an A road is madness. If it were on a motorway it wouldn't be quite so bad. But it was not, so presumably there were pedestrians around. You deserve to have the book thrown at you, your licence taken away. It's people like you who cause accidents and kill innocent people. |
